Attestation Commercial Documents

Commercial documents issued in India, such as invoices, certificates of origin, purchase orders, or business contracts, intended for use abroad require attestation to verify their authenticity. These documents must first be notarized by a registered Notary Public in India. Following notarization, they need to be attested or apostilled by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, through the CPV Division in New Delhi. This attestation process certifies the genuineness of the documents for acceptance by foreign authorities, government agencies, or business entities. For use in countries like Australia, these documents may also require additional notarization by a local Notary Public to ensure full legal recognition. Attestation of commercial documents is essential for smooth international trade, business transactions, customs clearance, and legal compliance abroad.
