Affidavits/ Self Declarations

Documents issued by a Government Authority of India can be attested by the Consulate only if they have first been attested or apostilled by the CPV Division of the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi; more details are available on the Indian Government's official portal. For documents issued by a Government Authority of Australia, they must be notarized by an Australian Notary Public (if not already original government-issued documents), and then attested—either authenticated or apostilled—by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Australia.
